Over the past 50 years, SSM has successfully completed many municipal recreation and park facilities throughout the Lehigh Valley, Berks County and surrounding Counties. Preparing grant applications to help municipalities obtain matching funds for recreational projects. Writing ordinance provisions to encourage the dedication of parkland and generate recreation impact funds. Combining expertise in landscape architecture with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering. We understand what it takes to bring a successful, comprehensive park facility together from budgetary and environmental constraints, schedule limitations, and public input and participation. We approach each park and recreation facility design uniquely, focusing on municipal and community-based input as the basis of the design process. We find this approach produces cost-effective, user-friendly facilities that meet community needs and expectations.
