Story #76 is a then and now look at services related to soil assessment.

Environmental engineering has been a part of our repertoire since the beginning. Check out these two similar shots of a project many years ago, and one just recently. We have a team of geologists and environmental specialists that are well-versed in analysis and investigation of soil.

Some of the services our team offers include:

  • Infiltration testing: understanding how much water the soil can take in.

  • Soil profiles: aiding clients in understanding the details of their land.

  • Karst assessments: examination for incipient sinkholes through finding out where soil is soft, where it's wet, where it's pooling, and the reason why.

  • Sinkhole investigation: documentation and investigation of the sinkhole and throat, as well as direction for repairs.

  • Fill movement or disposal: coordination of construction fill sampling plan, testing, site investigation, and submission for fill to be relocated.
